It's going to be a drizzly, cloudy weekend

Not a whole lot going on to look forward to weather wise.

THE WEEKEND IS set to be grey and cloudy, with patches of rain and some bright spells across the country.

According to Met Éireann, today will be mostly dry in the morning with a few sunny spells. Outbreaks of rain will in the west but it will remain for the day.

Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees.

Tonight will be cloudy and misty with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. There will be good dry periods as the night progresses but it will remain cloudy.

Tomorrow morning will be mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain. There will be some bright spells in the southern half of the country but it will remain mostly overcast.

There will be rain and drizzle for most of the day with top temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees.

Sunday will be mostly dry with variable amounts of cloud. There will be a chance of rain in the southern half of the country and top temperatures will be 14 to 16 degrees.

Next week will see increasing rain on Monday, with it becoming wet as the day progresses.
